| The Ketso
Yoh Centre Men's Hostel provides temporary living facilities for transient
men in need.
Consistent with the philosophy of the Prince George
Native Friendship Centre, the Ketso Yoh Centre is operated in a manner
that respects the individual's human rights.
Fundamental to this is the right of the resident
to practice his culture and religion in an atmosphere free from threat
- it being our philosophy that understanding one's cultural heritage
is requisite if one is to develop as a person to his full potential.
The Ketso Yoh Facility
- Housing outreach

- 46 beds, combination of single and double rooms. All double have full bathroom and fridges.
- One handicapped suite
- Laundry facilities consist of two washers and dryers - laundry products are supplied
- Hobby and snack room with microwave, coffee machine and bottled water
- Large lounge with pool table, comfortable couches and chairs, TV, board games, books, and a phone for residents
- Private Back Yard
- Computer area
- Cablevision in all rooms, lounge and dining room
- Home cooked meals
- Guests are allowed in the lounge area until 11:00 PM
- Carving Shack
- 24 Hour Supports
- Open door policy

- 10 Alcohol and Drug Supportive Recovery beds
- 15 Supported Living beds
- Access to a safe and supportive drop-in
centre
- Access to a Third Party Outreach worker for Social Assistance Supports
- Individual Case Planning

- Inclusion, self-esteem and self-respect

- Supported Transitions from the Street,
the Shelter, to Supportive Recovery, to
Independent Living to meet your own
personal needs

Outreach Services helps residents find
suitable, affordable, safe living units when
they move out on their own. This service is
also offered to family and friends of our
residents.
Field Trips
Staff and residents go on several trips per year
which could include:
- Fishing
- Medicine gathering
- Day trips to
Camp Friendship
- Pow Wows
- Berry picking
- Camping
