Becoming a member of the Prince George Native Friendship Centre (PGNFC) means becoming part of a caring, connected, and welcoming community. Our members play an important role in supporting Indigenous culture, strengthening community relationships, and helping guide the future of the Centre.

What Membership Means

As a PGNFC member, you are encouraged to participate in the life of the Centre and its governance.

  • Members Have voting privileges, ensuring your voice is heard

  • Provide input to the Board of Governors, supporting strong and community-driven leadership

  • Participate in Annual General Meetings (AGMs), held each fall, where important updates and decisions are shared

  • Receive official PGNFC communications, including notices of extraordinary meetings and other key updates

Membership helps ensure that PGNFC remains accountable, transparent, and grounded in the voices of the community it serves.

Membership Approval Process

Membership application forms are reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors just prior to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the fall. This process supports responsible governance and helps maintain the integrity and values of the Prince George Native Friendship Centre.
