The House of Friendship offers vital support and temporary shelter for adults in need, rooted in the principles of respect for human rights and cultural heritage, as aligned with the values of the Prince George Native Friendship Centre.
The House of Friendship is committed to fostering a nurturing environment where individuals can receive the supports they need to have a safe place and work on their goals.
Programs and services offered
Emergency Shelter for men & women: 30 beds available year-round.
Adult Drop-In Centre
Adult Outreach Program
Meals: Two meals daily, along with snacks.
Personal Care Items: Bedding, towels, toiletries, and personal hygiene items provided.
Safety Standards: Compliance with health and fire regulations.
Referrals: Access to external agencies for additional services.
Supportive Environment: A clean and safe space with 24/7 staff availability.
Program Standards: Clear guidelines provided to residents upon arrival.
Housing List: Access to current rental opportunities.
Case Planning: Tailored support to navigate resources and secure housing.
