The My Way Youth independent living program supports individuals that are in the care of the Ministry for Children and Family Development (MCFD), to guide and facilitate the youth’s plan for their future. 

My Way offers youth life skill components, educational planning, promote self-efficiency, community engagement, employment goals, obtain safe housing, promote self-responsibility, preparation for adult programming and services and promote safe, stable and supportive programming for youth to transition to full independence.

Who can access these programs and services

Youth ages 15 up to 19. 
Must be in care of MCFD to be eligible

How to access services

Youth must be referred by a MCFD Social Worker.
